Props are the cleanest way to pass data from a parent component to a child component. In Nuxt and Vue, the best pattern is to keep props focused, predictable, and easy to understand from the component name and usage.

With script setup and TypeScript, defineProps gives you a clean contract for your component. This helps your editor catch missing or incorrect values before runtime.

Avoid mutating props inside child components. If a child needs to change something, emit an event or use v-model with a clear update contract.
